GeoUnderground allows you to export any of your layers to a Shape file. A single layer or multiple layers can be exported at once.
NOTE: Currently, all layers are exported to the projection WGS 84 (EPSG 4326).
To export a file, go to the Layer Actions menu and click on the “Export Layer" option. The File Export window is displayed with the layer’s Name, Geometry Type, Feature Count, Garbage Can icon, “Export” and “Cancel” buttons.
To delete a file from the File Export window, click the Garbage Can icon.
To cancel the export, click on the “Cancel” button. Click the “Confirm” button to cancel or click the “Cancel” button to go back to the File Export screen.
To start the export, click on the “Export” button. The Export Import window is displayed with the layer’s Name, Status, Download link, Download All button and Finish button.
If the export completed successfully, click the “Finish” button to exit.
If you want to download each layer one at a time, you can click on the “Download” link.
If you want to download all layers again, you can click on the “Download All” link.
To add more than one file to the File Export window, go to the Layer Actions menu and click on the “Export Layer" option for each layer to be included in the export. The new layer will be displayed in the File Export window. Click on the “Export” button to start the export.
